A Year Together in Dance

Project Objective:

The project aims to strengthen ties between the residents of the cross-border twin town Valka-Valga by fostering communication, community spirit, and a shared sense of identity.

"A Year Together in Dance" brings together the communities of Valka (Latvia) and Valga (Estonia) through dance. The initiative includes a high-level dance performance and a series of free, open dance workshops for residents of all ages and backgrounds. The activities are designed to promote interaction, cultural exchange, and a feeling of unity within the shared cross-border space.

Key Activities:

• Organisation of a professional-level cross-border dance performance.
• Implementation of free dance workshops open to the local community throughout the year.
