Project Overview:
Smart Tiny House develops innovative, standardised smart home solutions through cross-border cooperation between Estonia and Latvia. The project brings together a technology company and a construction company to create integrated smart house packages that are easier to use, faster to install and more accessible for customers.
The project addresses key challenges in the current smart home market, where customised solutions are often complex, time-consuming and expensive. It is difficult for construction companies to integrate smart technologies efficiently and for customers to understand and select suitable solutions.
Project Objective
The objective is to strengthen the competitiveness of both partners by developing standardised smart house solutions that simplify the integration of technology into housing, reduce costs and support expansion to export markets.
Key Activities
- Joint design and development of a smart tiny house concept, including hardware and software solutions.
- Development of a pilot smart house and related technologies.
- Creation of a smart house development laboratory for testing and innovation.
- Development of integrated smart home services and business models for future customers and partners.
Expected Results:
- New standardised smart house solutions that are easier to implement and use.
- Increased competitiveness of both companies in international markets.
- Improved cooperation between technology and construction sectors across borders.
- New business opportunities and scalable solutions for the smart housing market.
