Project Objective:
The project aims to foster social inclusion for minorities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen cooperation in the field of football between Latvia and Estonia by:
- Strengthening cooperation between local community leaders from Cēsis, Valmiera, Ventspils (Latvia) and Haapsalu, Risti, Pärnu (Estonia).
- Training 40 community leaders to organize street football tournaments.
- Developing a sustainable strategy for community engagement and youth development.
- Addressing challenges related to minority integration through sports.
Key Activities:
- Bringing together Latvian and Estonian communities through various football models.
- Facilitating knowledge exchange between grassroots movements and professional football clubs.
- Organizing street football tournaments to engage diverse social groups.
- Developing a long-term community engagement strategy to ensure project sustainability.
Expected Results:
- Stronger cross-border cooperation in football between Latvian and Estonian communities.
- 40 trained community leaders equipped with skills to organize inclusive football events.
- A sustainable strategy for long-term youth engagement in sports.
- Improved minority integration through football as a unifying activity.
