The project aims to build a community of local small food producers in the Estonia-Latvia border area, fostering collaboration and networking for future joint products and food-related events.

Project Objective:

  • To connect small food producers from both sides of the border:
    • Estonia (Vana-Võromaa region) – Põlvamaa, Võrumaa, Valgamaa.
    • Latvia – Valmiera, Valka, Smiltene counties.
  • To identify and engage 30 small food producers interested in knowledge exchange and cross-border networking.

Key Activities:

  • Experience exchange events to facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Joint food fairs to showcase local products and promote cross-border trade.
  • Training activities to help producers understand new market opportunities and consumer needs.

Expected Results:

  • A stronger network of small food producers in the Estonia-Latvia border area.
  • Increased collaboration through joint product development and food-related events.
  • Better understanding of cross-border markets and consumer preferences.
