The project aims to build a community of local small food producers in the Estonia-Latvia border area, fostering collaboration and networking for future joint products and food-related events.
Project Objective:
- To connect small food producers from both sides of the border:
- Estonia (Vana-Võromaa region) – Põlvamaa, Võrumaa, Valgamaa.
- Latvia – Valmiera, Valka, Smiltene counties.
- To identify and engage 30 small food producers interested in knowledge exchange and cross-border networking.
Key Activities:
- Experience exchange events to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Joint food fairs to showcase local products and promote cross-border trade.
- Training activities to help producers understand new market opportunities and consumer needs.
Expected Results:
- A stronger network of small food producers in the Estonia-Latvia border area.
- Increased collaboration through joint product development and food-related events.
- Better understanding of cross-border markets and consumer preferences.
