PharmaBoost

Project objective and activities:

The direct aim of the project is the joint development of a new sustainable production technology for Varenicline Tartrate (smoking cessation drug). The main beneficiary will be TBD Pharmatech Ltd., whose product portfolio it would complement.

The general aim is to act as a case model for future cooperation – drug development services based on synergy and innovation of Latvian Institute of Organic Synthesis and TBD Pharmatech Ltd. The project and its results are important for both partners - the resources in pharmaceutical sector in Estonia and Latvia are limited, and it is vital to join forces to be competitive and internationally visible.
