Jevgenia Aleksandrova and her family took a bold step three years ago when they decided to move from Riga, capital of Latvia, to Valka, a small town located at the northern border of Latvia. She was born in Riga and had lived there her whole life.
"It was three years ago. We were sitting at home when my husband came said that he has a job proposal in Valka. Sorry, where is it? I didn’t even know where the city is located."

The videoclip was produced withing the campaign #InterregAndMe with the aim to let individual Europeans tell the world how their lives have improved thanks to cross-border cooperation. For example the Estonia-Latvia programme has co-funded several projects which have invested a lot to develop the Valga-Valka city centre and the living environment.
