Public consultation: Help secure the future of Interreg

29.04.2025 | 11:29

The European Commission has opened a public consultation to gather input for the EU’s next long-term budget, starting in 2028. This consultation will help shape future funding programmes, including Interreg. Everyone is welcome to participate—citizens, funding beneficiaries, national, regional, and local authorities.

The next EU budget will feature a simpler, more strategic approach, combining investments with key reforms and focusing on shared priorities such as economic, social, and territorial cohesion. The continuation and development of Interreg programmes in the new funding period will depend heavily on the feedback gathered through this consultation.

At the Interreg Estonia-Latvia Programme, we strongly believe in the value of cross-border cooperation and the results you have helped create. Your input is crucial to ensure that future programmes continue to meet the real needs of communities across borders.
