Visibility and communication activities are crucial for the success of EU funded projects. While they are legally required by EU legislation to ensure transparency, their significance goes beyond that. Effective communication not only showcases project achievements but also engages stakeholders, fosters partnerships, and maximizes the impact of projects. What is the aim of communication and visibility activities? 

Visibililty and communication requirements are nothing new or specific to Estonia-Latvia programme. These key elements are integrated to all programmes dealing with EU funds with the overall aim to make it more recognisable how and where EU money is spent and to show how different project activities help implement EU policy goals and priorities. 

Main aim of the visibility and communication activities

​Visibility and communication rules and obligations have been fixed in the EU legislation, but it is also important to keep in mind that in any case visibility and communication activities help to successfully implement the project and reach the target group.

When project partners prioritize effective communication, it helps to increase transparency, engage stakeholders, and maximize the impact of the project. By following the guidelines provided by the Interreg Estonia-Latvia programme and using different communication channels and strategies, project partners can ensure their projects succeed and bring maximum benefits to their intended audiences.
