Direct Award Open for the Pre-Defined Cross-Border Geospatial Project

The purpose of the direct award is to select a pre-defined project focused on the creation of an Estonia–Latvia border geospatial 3D model. The project will support cross-border spatial planning, infrastructure development and legal and administrative cooperation between the two countries. The direct award procedure for the pre-defined project is open from 5 January 2026 until 2 February 2026 at 14:00.

The project is implemented under Priority 1 – “More cooperating cross-border regions and development of joint services”, contributing to Specific Objective (ii), which aims to enhance efficient public administration. It promotes legal and administrative cooperation and collaboration between citizens and institutions, particularly to help overcome legal and practical obstacles in border regions. In doing so, the project supports the strategic objectives of the European Union.

The indicative total ERDF support available for this pre-defined project under Priority 1, Specific Objective (ii), amounts to €332,480.03.
