The European Commission has launched the 2025 RegioStars Awards, an annual competition recognising the most innovative and impactful EU-funded projects. This is a great opportunity for projects supported by the Estonia-Latvia Programme to gain international recognition and inspire others.
The competition is open to all EU-funded projects that contribute to regional development. This includes projects co-funded by the Estonia-Latvia Programme, which promotes cross-border cooperation between Estonia and Latvia.
Competition Categories:
As in previous years, projects will compete in five categories aligned with cohesion policy objectives:
- A COMPETITIVE AND SMART EUROPE
- A GREEN EUROPE
- A CONNECTED EUROPE
- A SOCIAL AND INCLUSIVE EUROPE
- A EUROPE CLOSER TO THE CITIZENS
Why apply?
Winning a RegioStars Award brings high-level visibility and recognition at the European level. The best projects will be promoted widely, including at the official awards ceremony in Brussels in October 2025. For inspiration have a look at the 2024 RegioStars Ceremony!
