Estonia-Latvia cross-border cooperation programme, supported by the European Regional Development Fund, focuses on projects involving partners and participants from Estonia and Latvia (see programme area map). Between 2021 and 2027, the European Regional Development Fund (Interreg) has allocated 26 million Euros to the Estonia-Latvia program. It aligns with the strategic goals of the European Union.
In this second application round, you can apply for projects in four main areas:
- Strengthening Cross-Border Cooperation: Budget of 2.21 million EUR.
(Priority 1: More cooperating cross border regions and development of joint services)
- Supporting Smart Business Growth: Budget of 3 million EUR.
(Priority 2: Jointly and smartly growing businesses)
- Ensuring a Sustainable Program Area: Budget of 7.75 million EUR.
(Priority 3: Sustainable and resilient programme area)
- Enhancing Cross-Border Tourism: Budget of 2.39 million EUR.
(Priority 4: More accessible and sustainable cross-border tourism experience)
The application period for the Second Call is open from 4 September 2023 and closes 4 January 2024, at 14:00. Project applications will be submitted electronically via JEMS portal. Before submitting the project application in JEMS, it is recommended to use the self-assessment tool and test the suitability of the project idea to the programme. Also it is mandatory to book an individual consultation with the Joint Secretariat before submitting the project.
