Project objective and activities:
The project aims at building a community of local small food producers in the EST-LAT border area (from Estonia Vana-Võromaa region: Põlvamaa, Võrumaa, Valgamaa; from Latvia: Valmiera, Valka, Smiltene counties), who might work together in the future in joint products or organize food-related events. The goal is to find total of 30 small local food producers who are interested in knowledge exchange and networking across the border.
By organising the exchange of experience events, joint fairs and training activities project partners are aiming to help local food producers to meet other producers and learn more about cross-border markets and consumers.
