Digitization of Weiss Aiand irrigation processes through artificial intelligence to reduce resource use.

Project objective and activities:

The aim of the project is to develop a digital solution for which more detailed irrigation recommendations will be shared based on real-time data and artificial intelligence (AI). That will contribute to a more efficient and sustainable vegetable growing process and benefit the environment. As a result, the sustainability of local food production in the EstLat region will be increased by reducing the use of natural resources and promoting energy efficiency.

Thanks to the project the company Weiss Aiand will have innovation of process - machine learning based irrigation and data analysis software that utilizes AI to offer the best solutions for watering amount and time, a data-gathering server equipped with data from sensors, and a web application that facilitates data visualization and analysis.
