The project is aiming to create a strong cross-border sport community from border regions by:

  • organizing 13 joint sport events and promoting healthy and active lifestyle among wide group of local inhabitants paying special attention to the involvement of women
  • involving ca 630 participants from Setomaa, Räpina and Aluksne regions to cross-border sport events.

Partners have designed a calendar of cross-border sport events, where a wide range of different sports are included: basketball/street basketball tournaments (incl. for women), beach volleyball and disc golf tournaments (involving women), football tournaments, yoga/gymnastics festival for women, participation in orienteering events across the border and joint running event. The aim is that both those people who are already physically active and are engaged in different teams, and those who have less experience, can take part at least in one cross-border event.
