Results of calls 2017-2021

Please note that the programme funds are committed and there will be no calls for proposals within this programme of 2014-2020. 

 

In 2021 the direct award procedure for the Priority 2

 

Three pre-defined projects GeoRefAct, Valga-Valka Recreational Area, and PACKGDEPO were selected for funding by the monitoring committee on 8 and 22 January 2021. The submission of the applications was open from 26 October to 14 December 2020.

 

In 2019 the 5th call

 

4 cooperation projects were selected for funding on 5 December 2019 by the monitoring committee. The total allocation for the selected projects Military Heritage, Smart Living, DAML and WaterAct is ca 2.6 million EUR. 5th call for proposals was open from 1 February till 3 June 2019.

 

In 2019 the 4th call

 

The monitoring committee of the programme selected 5 SME cooperation projects for funding within the 4th call for proposals on 16 May 2019. The total allocation for new projects is ca 1.7 million EUR and thus all the programme funds within priority 1 are committed. Selected projects were GeoTranslate, EstLat Translator, Herbal Water, Bio4ASIA and SpectroScreen. The 4th call was open from 24 September 2018 till 3 January 2019. 

 

In 2018 the 3rd call

 

Out of 23 submitted project applications, 7 were selected for funding by the monitoring committee of the programme on 19 April 2018. Following six SME cooperation projects have started implementation in the second half of 2018 - Capsules (greener laundry washing capsules), PFM - AIHEN (cloud-based IT platform for poultry flock management), Ticketer (ticket management solution for public passenger transport operators), MyTree Alert Service (forest information service derived from the satellite imagery), Smart Heat (wireless remote solution for the smart home heating system), PDS (PanBaltic Product Data Sync development). 3rd call was open from 5 October till 14 December 2017. 
 

In 2018 the 2nd call

 

6 new cooperation projects started their implementation in 2018! The monitoring committee selected for funding heritage tourism project Garden Pearls, re-use and energy-saving projects Waste Art and Energy Advice on 16 January 2018. Two projects were selected for joint management of Gauja/Koiva river basin - GroundEco and Water bodies without borders, where the last project includes also Salaca/Salatsi river basin. Under the topic labour commuting project Cross-Border Work-based Learning in Estonia and Latvia was selected. Most of the projects have started their implementation in spring 2018. 2nd call was open from 24 March till 6 October 2017.


In 2017 and 2020 the direct award procedures 

for the Priority 3


Two pre-defined projects aim at creation of a network of small harbours on the western coast of Latvia and around the Gulf of Riga under Priority 3. The programme support is 12 million euros. The first project was selected for funding by the monitoring committee on 22 May 2017 and the second on 12 June 2020.

 

In 2017 the 1st call

 

First 28 projects were selected by the monitoring committee on 10 and 11 January 2017. The total amount of around 15 million euros was granted to selected projects.

5 projects support tourism development in Estonia and Latvia, in 9 projects Estonian and Latvian (future) entrepreneurs are meeting in various training events and within 8 projects new products are developed jointly by the Estonian and Latvian SMEs. 2 projects are facilitating cooperation in environmental education of the public in relation to the organization of greener events and establishing and further developing energy classes. 2 projects support joint water management initiatives. 1 project support labor commuting in Valka and Valga municipalities and within the biggest project, the common Valga-Valka urban centre will be created. 1st call was open from 23 February till 7 October 2016. 

1st call project "ID Future" joined the programme and started it's implementation in spring 2018.
