This year the European Cooperation Day was celebrated under the green label. We have had a closer look what our partners in environmental awareness projects do, like carrying out waste sorting audits and creating a waste art exhibition Exhibition NOT out of sight, NOT out of mind (in October in Tartu) in the project WasteArt and energy-saving campaigns in the project Energy Advice and Smart Energy Community, green events concepts in the Green Public Events project.
Have a look at the agenda of each route of the Green Space Tour 2019 and you will find out, that participants were engaged in attractive workshops, like waste sorting, preparation of the wrap cloth from the beeswax, making magnets from the wool and candle holders from reused glass jars.

Buses from Rīga and Alūksne (Latvia) and Pärnu and Tartu (Estonia) brought Interreg Estonia-Latvia programme and Estonia-Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020 fans together in the Tartu Observatory of the University of Tartu, on the Tõravere hill (20 km from Tartu). We had the opportunity to have an insight into how the planet Earth looks from the space as several great images are taken by the first Estonian satellite. Participants became better aware of the uniqueness of the universe that surrounds us as responsible inhabitants of the planet Earth!
